Band: Miyavi Info: Copy pasted from the LJ group: community.livejournal.com/masakarasu/Miyavi BIG Announcement (and journal: 2006/12/30) EVERYBODY BETTER READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 06/12/30 (“ú) 2006, December 30th (Sun) Translated by: Jessica Rains Japanese: ‚¨‚Ü‚½‚¹[B ‚¿‚á‚ñ‚ÆŒ©‚ê‚é‚©‚ÈH www.o-re-sa-ma.com/img/miyavi.wmv‚¿‚á‚ñ‚Æ“Í‚‚©‚È ^‰ë Translation: Sorry to make you wait. I wonder if you can see it ok? www.o-re-sa-ma.com/img/miyavi.wmvI wonder if it'll send ok /Miyavi -Author's Notes- DOWNLOAD IT!!!!!! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - He said he's back in Japan, and that 300 grams of tenderloin steak, two smoked salmon and something salads, 2 something asparagus, and 200 gram delicious hamburger, but he's not any fatter so no worries. (I'm not worried at all about fat but look at HIS HAIR AND HIS SKIN! ouch) He said that he has something he wants to tell everyone, but not in a text, rather in a comment, in person, right there as he's tired, as he's wanting to tell everyone. He said it's been four years since his old band broke up, and he debuted as a soloist in 2002. Being in a band was amazing, as it was said in magazines as well, but it didn't work out and he had to go solo. And now it's been four years, and it's all thanks to everyone. He said he's really feels that from his heart. He said he thought that soccer and being in a band were over for him, but that next year, he's thinking of being in a band, playing guitar. He found an amazing guy (older than him), and he thought he'd like to try screaming in the background once again (laugh), so he hopes we look forward to it. He can't say who's going to be in the band yet, but he hopes that they can in the new year. He's sorry for making everyone, especially Comiyavi, wait for so long this year, so that's why he decided to make a comment. But of course, he still wants to continue his solo act as a solo artist, so he wants everyone to look forward to it. He said he'll be working on pre-productions and he's thinking about going back to Los Angeles again, and he knows everyone's going to miss him but he's still going to play guitar, doing neo-visualism. (Miyavi denutsa.........) Oh and he's going to make sure that he can write Japanese in his journal again. (baibai)

Band: Violet UK Info copy pasted from my Friends LJ: daynnight.livejournal.com/Seems Yoshiki and Gackt have added a third member to their "superband"! Sugizo from Luna Sea on guitar. This is getting interesting, that is if they ever get into the studio! So who are the last two members--still need bass and another guitar?? From dears: Sponichi announced December 27 that SUGIZO (ex-Luna Sea) will join forces with YOSHIKI (ex-X JAPAN) and popular singer Gackt as part of a five-member band whose name and details will be revealed in an official announcement early next year. SUGIZO, who together with Ryuichi Kawamura formed the core of LUNA SEA, was YOSHIKI’s choice for the guitarist. He was raised in a musical household headed by parents who played in an orchestra and is also proficient on the violin. During LUNA SEA’s indies days the band was affiliated with YOSHIKI’s record label and quickly gained renown as talented composers. The two have known each other for twenty years and are very close. “At first glance, SUGIZO seems like some mysterious visitor from another world. But his feelings about music are really pure,” YOSHIKI said. SUGIZO described YOSHIKI as “ a great older brother who I can always depend on. I’m honored that he asked me to be a part of his new project.” SUGIZO and Gackt met for the first time at a music event four years ago. Although they initially saw each other as rivals, they have come to respect each other’s musical ability. “The first time we met ended on a sour note,” Gackt said, laughing. “We parted fighting and I felt like it was really too bad that we didn’t get along so I’m happy that we get to work together.” “Gackt has a really strong personality and lots of charisma. It’s hard to imagine what his life is like but when you meet him you really come to trust him,” SUGIZO said. X JAPAN broke up in 1997, Gackt left MALICE MIZER in 1999 to become a solo artist, and SUGIZO has been constantly working since LUNA SEA’s breakup in 2000. It’s a dream come true for many people to see three members of the most influential bands of the Visual Kei era working together. YOSHIKI will play drums and piano, and Gackt, who is also committed to NHK’s drama “Fuurin Kazan” until Autumn, will hold down vocals. “I think that we’ll end up having five members,” YOSHIKI said. “It’s great that we’ve got some big names on board and I hope that we’re able to make it big worldwide.” “Each of us has a strong personality and is somewhat selfish. I’m sure everyone thinks that our band will fall apart, but we really want to become the first Asian band to top the world charts,” said Gackt. “Look out for high-impact, explosive rock music,” said SUGIZO. What sort of chemical reaction will result from the mixing of these three intense individuals? They’re definitely going to cause waves in the music world next year. Band: Kurt
Info from: Their Web site and Translated by my friend Tokyotowergirl. Tenten the lead singer of Kurt is leaving the band.
This is what he wrote: (translated and its from their website):
i've always been working hard with those conflicting opinions. but no matter what my ideas or opinions are always not successful. i can only be surrounded by other opinions...and this keeps continuing. i am different from the past, i want to be able to carry out my own beliefs. noticed more and more meaningless shouts during live the only thing i could do was to flaunt my superiority
no matter what i can never excuse that kind of "me"...
lastly, at least lastly, i, ended in the way we wanted it to end but... unwillingness have piled up, i cannot help doing this...really sorry... thank you for supporting me up till now, even if its for this kind of "me".
frankly speaking before this, i still don't know if i can return to this world this reluctant me, putting a stop to my music life is not something we want after all, i love singing, i love the stage most. because there are various significance, its a place that can make me strong, therefore, i think will still come back.
up till now those who have supported, every music parties concerned, , yuma, kiaki, ryouki, saburo, . really thank you. also, sorry...

This is a BIG announcement!! From X-JAPAN For those who do not know Xjapan was the front runners of the Visual Kei Jrock scene in the 70's and 80's in Japan. They broke up in teh early 90's due to Hide (Guitarist) commiting suicide. All the members have pretty much been unheard from since then except Yoshiki who about 10 years ago started to becoem more active. here is the announcement from Toshi: Here's news from Toshi's website, posted on the 10th of February, 2007. Rough translation: Everyone, how are you doing? About half a year ago, with the former president of X Japan’s management office, a kind employee of the music industry who supported me when I was going through difficult times, came to me and said, “I would like you for you to listen to my idea.” Until now, many people tried to talk about reuniting “X Japan”, but I wasn’t interested at all, and refused all such proposals. Although I had gone through financial troubles in the past, I was happy… but they came to me again and again, even though I shouted at them, kicked them, and still they came. That’s why I started to seriously consider the proposal. He said to me, “Other members are willing [reunite], how about you?” He asked me again and again. So, I asked Yoshiki whether or not this was true, and Yoshiki said yes. The mutual friends of [X Japan] are cheering us on and we are proceeding with the proposal.
